This handmade kitchen knife has a 52100 high carbon steel blade that keeps a good edge. The blade will naturally darken with use. The handle is Dymondwood, a durable and water resistant laminate of wood and resin made under high pressure and temperature. The rivets are solid brass with a mosaic pin in the middle. The knife should be cleaned and dried after use and the handle should be polished occasionally with beeswax furniture polish.
